Tiffin Boys dates, registration and results for 2027 entry
For September 2027 entry, Tiffin School Stage 1 is on 2 October 2026 and Stage 2 is on 12 November for invited boys. Test registration has closed. The school’s sources disagree on whether the deadline was 1 or 2 September at noon; both dates have passed. The council application is a separate step.

The determined policy and live date table give 2 September at noon. The page introduction and July FAQ give 1 September at noon. The FAQ says the policy takes precedence when documents conflict. Do not treat an old “registration open” heading as permission to apply late.
Stage 2 results are not the October invitation

October communication tells families whether a boy progresses. The school’s timetable places post-test outcomes in early March, when families not offered a place receive their test outcome. Keep your home authority’s application deadline while waiting for later testing.
If your son is in Year 4 or Year 5
Start a calendar headed with the intended Year 7 entry year. Do not copy these dates into a later year. Our suggestion for Year 4 is reading, number fluency and talking through a problem; for Year 5, add occasional independent practice and check the new registration notice.
- Record the school, entry year and official admissions link.
- Keep a separate line for access-arrangement evidence if needed.
- Save the invitation and confirmation rather than relying on a preparation website’s calendar.
